Say it ain’t so! Looks like NBC is considering shelving Friday Night Lights in this post writer’s strike world, and wrapping up the show from its current point with a mere two hour “movie of the week” format. But wait, there is the rumor that the show is being shopped around, which means that Friday Night Lights could end up on some other network instead. Someone is getting pregnant on Friday Night Lights

Thursday, December 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ausiello has revealed that someone is getting pregnant on the last episode done before the writer’s strike. That will be episode 15, and it is going to be behind the big cliffhanger at the end of that episode. Friday Night Lights nabs Melrose alum Brooke Langton

Friday, February 2nd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Brooke Langton, most famous for her Melrose Place stint, has signed on to join Friday Night Lights. She will play Riggin’s love interest on the show.

In what amounts to another big score for Friday Night Lights’ resident man-whore, Melrose Place alum Brooke Langton is joining the cast as a love interest for Riggins (Taylor Kitsch), sources confirm. Langton’s character — a single mom who moves in next door to Riggins — first shows up at the end of sweeps. The little cradle robber’s on board for at least four episodes.

Lyla gets a proposal on Friday Night Lights

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

The January 17th episode of Friday Night Lights will have Lyla receiving a proposal. Of course, we don’t know exactly what kind of proposal…er… proposition it might be.

Ask Ausiello also has a couple other spoilers for the upcoming season. First, two people are going to find out about Smash and his steriod use, and they happen to be the last two people he wants knowing about it. Also, Tami is also getting an offer…er… proposition that hubby won’t be too pleased about.

Friday Night Lights airs (ironically) Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
